Smoke Alarms

Photoelectric smoke alarms for domestic and rental compliance work — 240V mains powered with 9V or 10-year lithium backup, standalone battery units, wireless interconnecting models, recessed alarms, isolation relays and alarm testers.

In NSW, alarms must be photoelectric and mains powered in most new and substantially renovated dwellings, and interconnected so one alarm sounds them all. Check the manufacture date as well as the model when replacing — alarms have a 10 year service life from manufacture, not from installation. Pick up from the North Parramatta trade counter or have it sent out — Mon–Fri 6:30am–5pm, Sat 7:30am–1pm.
