Connectors

Connectors for joining and terminating cable — insulated screw-terminal connectors in jar quantities, porcelain and nylon connector strip, and WAGO compact lever splicing connectors in 2, 3 and 5 conductor.

Lever connectors are quicker in a junction box and hold on both solid and stranded conductors without re-torquing, which is why they have largely taken over from screw connectors for lighting work. Screw connectors still suit higher current terminations. Either way, check the connector is rated for the conductor size and the current before you commit.
