ActronAir Serene 2 inverter wall-mounted split systems from 2.65kW up to 8.5kW, in cooling only and reverse cycle — Australian designed and built for local conditions.

Size the unit to the room rather than the budget: an oversized system short-cycles, which costs more to run and dehumidifies poorly. As a rough starting point allow around 0.15kW per square metre for a well-insulated room, then adjust for glazing, ceiling height and aspect. Every split needs a weatherproof isolator within sight of the outdoor unit. Pick up from the North Parramatta trade counter or have it sent out — Mon–Fri 6:30am–5pm, Sat 7:30am–1pm.
