Motion Sensors

Motion and occupancy sensors switch lighting on presence rather than leaving it to a wall switch — wall-mount PIRs for entries and stairwells, ceiling sensors for offices and amenities, and weatherproof exterior units for carparks and yards.

Match the detection pattern to the space: PIR needs line of sight and works well across a corridor, while microwave sensors see through partitions and suit high bays and enclosed areas. Check the load rating against the fitting — LED loads with high inrush can weld an undersized relay. Pick up from the North Parramatta trade counter or have it sent out — Mon–Fri 6:30am–5pm, Sat 7:30am–1pm.
